This plan has been drawn up collaboratively by a team consisting of senior and middle management, the chairperson of the board, the chairperson of the Parent's association and the school caretaker. Please forward any contributions and suggestions to this plan by Friday the 14th so that they can be considered before the plan is ratified by the board. This is a 'live' document and as such may be amended/ changed / updated as needs arise or guidance/ advice changes. Updates will be published on the school website. Please note that it has been considered necessary to stagger opening times initially in order to cater for establishing routines given our large numbers and limited gates. (400 + pupils/ 4 gates)

The Minister for Education Norma Foley, announced that all schools will open in September. Several documents detailing arrangements for the re-opening have been published on the gov.ie website. Over the next month, management, teachers and ancillary staff in Creagh N.S. will be busy ensuring that the school will be fully prepared to bring children back in September in a safe and welcoming manner in line with D.E.S and H.S.E guidelines. We will keep parents, children and the wider community updated with back to school details as they are planned and agreed to suit our school. There will have be some changes to usual practices in these extraordinary times but we are confident that we will all work well together for a successful and happy transition. We appreciate your co-operation and patience as always and we look forward to being face to face with our pupils in the new term.
